About Us

I qualified in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy around 8 years ago but I entered the Bridal world around 10 years ago.

I was lucky enough at a young age to open my own salon in 2018. I absolutely loved it! We had the best team and we could offer everything from head to toe. With us being a family run business it was always so friendly and welcoming. My Nan would work on reception and my mum beautified everyone in the cosy Beauty rooms! I would be out front working my magic on people with the rest of my team. But unfortunately Covid-19 had other ideas for me and we had to close the salon.

But I have a very positive attitude and I now work in a lovely salon called The Beau Collective on Holme Lane, Hillsborough, offering all aspects of Hair & Beauty.

Wedding Hair & Makeup is a huge passions of mine. I love being a part of someones special day and making them feel a million dollars. I get many brides saying they won’t beable to have much done to their hair because ‘It’s too long, thick, curly, fine or short’ but I love seeing your face when I’ve worked my magic!

So I hope you liked hearing a little back story.

I look forward to potentially hearing from you soon.

I am an experienced level 3 Beauty Therapist offering a range of Beauty treatments.

Over the past 24 years I have worked for some amazing brands such as Lancome, Estee Lauder, Clinique & Dior. Working for these companies is where my passion for skin care and makeup started and has since led to me developing my skills further by doing extra courses to keep up with the ever growing beauty industry.

Most recently I qualified in the amazing Million Dollar Facial system. This treatment really is the ultimate rejuvenating facial! If you follow my page Skinglo_stephyb you can see the amazing transformations of people’s skin. You can also see the after results the Million Dollar system gives and the satisfaction of scraping away those dead skin cells!!!! Each facial I offer is tailored to you and your needs.

I also added intimate waxing to my resume… The training for this one was…. interesting!

When the salon closed I set up my tranquil Beauty room in my home. This is where I now offer all my beauty services.

The first wedding I did was in 1996 I realised then, how much I loved being a part of someones special day and making them feel beautiful. My makeup style is more traditional but I love all the makeup looks that are in the industry at the moment and I love experimenting with the colours I have. I have developed a slight obsession over eye-shadow pallets. But in my opinion, you can never have too many!

Thank you for taking the time to read about me and my daughter.

I hope you found what you were looking for.

I look forward to potentially hearing from you soon.
